Dear 6th Graders,

I am Ms. Junco, I will be your 6th grade teacher this year. I know we are going to have an amazing year, and learn a lot. You will all grow so much as readers, writers, mathematicians and thinkers this year! I look forward to spending the year together.

In sixth grade, you are starting to make the transition from Elementary School to High School. A major step in that direction is becoming responsible. In this classroom I have four non-negotiable expectations; work hard, be kind, be respectful and be responsible. These expectations are in place to create a safe and welcoming environment, for everyone that walks into our classroom.  I believe that each and everyone of you will bring a valuable sense of creativity and uniqueness into our classroom, this year. Whatever your strengths and weaknesses may be, I expect that you will try your very best and do an excellent job!

This will be my third year here at Fulda Elementary. I grew up in Hudson, Wisconsin. I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2019; where I studied Elementary Education and STEM education. This summer I spent a couple weeks back home in Wisconsin with my family. I decided to make to move to Fulda this summer and have been spending a lot of my time working on my house. I am excited to start the school year!
